The Engineers required significant strengthening of the existing house footings and support beams to enable Queensland Home Improvements to build up. A task we were only too happy to take on. Garage to Rumpus Room Conversion.
Queensland Home Improvements have just about finished this conversion of an existing double lock up garage below the house into a 30m2 rumpus and bathroom. The 2 x old roller doors have been removed and some fantastic sliding stacker doors have been installed. QHI has also installed stud walls, pest treatment, new concrete, square set gyprock and cornice and waterproofing to the bathroom. The engineered retaining wall at the front of the property was also built by QHI. The owners have opted for a brand new High Gloss double carport positioned at the rear of the house to accomodate the families vehicles.

Queensland Home Improvements have just finished this fantastic deck and room extension in Carindale. The deck features a waterproofed tile floor with a ceiling fitted underneath.
Beautiful hardwood posts and dressed hardwood top rails with custom fabricated powder coated steel balustrade to keep the youngsters safe and sound.
All of the steel products in the project were supplied by our friends at Lysaght and feature a 20 year material warranty.

Queensland Home Improvements were proud to be chosen as the builder for this fantastic insulated roof located at the offices of Surf Life Saving Queensland in West End.
The roof features 50mm insulated Solaspan roofing and an engineered steel frame specially powder coated to match the existing colour of the building.
Our friends at G Milne and Co were called in to provide the on site stainless steel post and handrail fabrication to the clients exacting specifications.
